Like A Bollywood Star

This is an amateur observation, but after looking at so, so many pics of sarees and Bollywood stars, there is a pattern.  Yes, there is a pattern.

We're talking about the red carpet sarees. These sarees have a simple design, a nice border, usually a plain field, a simple or barely there pallu all in a luxurious fabric. By the way, the elaborate sarees are reserved for bridal ceremonies.  

So, in my humble opinion, to look like a Bollywood star you need this recipe: one simple saree, well coifed hair, statement jewelry preferably in gold, a beautiful fitted choli, and flawless makeup that is not over the top. What about the shoes? We can touch on that later, but let's say that the shoes and pedi better look nice if they happen to peek from under the graceful folds of your saree.
